Inaara

Mrs. Inaara Panjwani is the founder and director of Inquisitive Mind Tutoring (IMT), an educational organization built on her lifelong passion for learning and her belief that every student has the ability to succeed.

Inaara began tutoring in 2015 with just one student. What started as a personal passion quickly grew into a larger mission: creating meaningful, personalized academic support that helps students not only improve their grades, but also build confidence and a love of learning.

Today, that vision has grown into IMT, where students and families are supported by a dedicated team of 30+ tutors serving 1000's of learners across a wide range of academic needs. Inaara has 11+ years of experience tutoring and leading IMT.

Throughout her career, Inaara has worked with students from K–12 and beyond, specializing in subjects including mathematics, English, biology, chemistry, algebra, and test preparation. She also specializes in ACT preparation, helping students develop effective strategies, strengthen foundational skills, and approach standardized testing with greater confidence.

A graduate of Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis, TN, graduating summa cum laude, Inaara completed the rigorous International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme, a demanding curriculum, that requires students to balance advanced coursework across multiple disciplines while developing strong research, writing, analytical, and time-management skills. Her experience in the IB Programme gave her firsthand understanding of what it takes to navigate a rigorous academic workload, manage competing responsibilities, think critically, and persevere through challenging material.

She continued that academic rigor throughout her higher education, earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, followed by a Master of Science in Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Memphis. Her education in healthcare further strengthened the skills that make her an effective educator: critical thinking, evidence-based reasoning, communication, attention to detail, adaptability, and problem-solving.

Her healthcare background also deeply influences the way she works with students. As a healthcare professional, Inaara learned that every individual is different and that effective support begins with understanding the person—not simply the problem. She brings that same philosophy to tutoring by recognizing that students learn differently and may need different explanations, strategies, encouragement, and levels of support. Her ability to break down complex information, identify areas of difficulty, and communicate concepts clearly allows her to make challenging material more approachable.

These experiences have also shaped her leadership of IMT. The discipline required to complete demanding academic programs, combined with the responsibility and teamwork inherent in healthcare, has taught Inaara how to lead with accountability, empathy, organization, and purpose. She understands the importance of high standards while also recognizing that people perform their best when they feel supported and valued.

Her mission through IMT is simple: to help every student and tutor recognize their potential, believe in themselves, and have the tools and support necessary to reach their goals.
